Do my eyes have to be dilated during my examination?

A dilated eye exam is recommended for most adult patients at their first visit here, so that Dr. Venn and Dr. Hannington has a thorough baseline of information for future reference. A dilated exam is not necessary for every patient at every examination. The Optometrist will tell you how often that test should be repeated.
